INTRODUCTION
The Workshop on Non-Neutral Plasmas 2003 will be held at
the historic La Fonda Hotel in Santa Fe, New Mexico, July 7-11, 2003. The purpose of the workshop is to provide a
stimulating forum for exchange of current scientific information among the
diverse areas of plasma physics, beam physics, and atomic physics
concerned with the fundamental properties and applications of non-neutral
plasmas.
Topics covered by the workshop will include:
The Workshop will
consist of plenary talks Tuesday-Friday mornings, followed by poster sessions
Tuesday-Thursday afternoons; the presentations will
end Friday at 1 pm. The plenary talks will be selected from the submitted
abstracts on the basis of general interest and scientific
importance.
The workshop consists of oral sessions on each day with poster sessions on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. Wednesday late afternoon is left open for informal interactions. To read the abstracts for each session click on the desired session:

HOUSING
Housing will be at the La Fonda and the Eldorado Hotels at the very low,
special conference rate of $99 single occupancy.
Double occupancy for two attendees sharing a single room will be at the
rates of $114 (La Fonda) or $119 (Eldorado). To arrange for housing, call La Fonda directly. Be sure to reference the

TRAVEL TO SANTA FE
Santa Fe is serviced by the Albuquerque International
Airport, one hour south of Santa Fe. Santa Fe's own municipal airport, at the
southwest corner of the city, offers commuter service from Denver provided by
United Express. Transportation from both airports to the center of Santa Fe can
be by rental car, shuttle, or taxi. Here is a summary of links to different means

Hotel is located in the very center of Santa Fe on the Plaza and is accessible
by means of any of the airport shuttles or taxis.
ABSTRACT
SUBMISSION
The deadline for receipt of abstracts at Los Alamos is May 16, 2003.
Single page abstracts should be submitted for each invited and contributed paper.
The abstract should contain the title, author(s) and affiliation(s) and a brief description of the work
to be presented. Electronic submission of abstracts is strongly encouraged. Please attach either
a Word or pdf formatted document to an e-mail with subject line containing "NNP03" and send to:
Paper copies are also acceptable if sent by fax to the above number, but electronic submission is strongly preferred.
PROCEEDINGS
The workshop proceedings will be published through the American Institute of Physics Conference Proceedings Series. Acceptable formats are camera-ready manuscripts or PDF files. Each submission must meet AIP publications guidelines and be accompanied by a transfer of copyright form. Martin Schauer will be organizing the editorial tasks.
The deadline for article submission will be August 1, 2003, but manuscripts will be gratefully accepted in advance of or during the meeting.
Each registered participant will receive 1 copy of the proceedings free.
Additional copies may be ordered during the conference from the organizers.
